This was a days effort. But it was educative and effective. I enjoyed it thoroughly. It explained me the whole mechanics of going about sub themeing an existing theme. The effects were great and look how I have been able to even change the image of the city in the top. A sub-themed blog looks really nice.

This was the site from where the idea came from. I initially installed and sub-themed the new installation in my local installation exactly as mentioned and then used the knowledge to do the same in the main server.
I used Irfanview, one of the best picture manipulator, to redo the picture on top, showing the city buildings. The results far exceeded my expectations.
This is also the first time that I used Google-Fonts for my blog fonts.
